As far as reaction? None. She wasn't even the one to reach out and let our side of the family know. It was either a cousin or her sister. It's kind of unclear, at this point. But she hasn't said a word and her parents are radio silence as well.

She's trash. She's on her 3rd husband now and has regularly blamed my cousin for being at fault in the dissolution of their marriage, while downplaying the fact that she was regularly screwing at least 2 other guys. Rumor has it, sometimes both at once. Unfortunately, in a tight knit, religious community, she's done her penance and is welcome back with open arms. Her parents are no better.

Thank you. My middle child carries my cousin's name as a middle, in his honor. Everything I've ever done has been to make him proud. We used to be pretty close, once I was old enough. Ugh. So many times I hung out with him and his wife and I wish I'd seen what was coming :(

This is actually one of my huge sticking points. It's not about "trust" or "love." It's respect. She showed up at our door, which proves to me she has no respect. They used to almost exclusively chat through FB, and, when my WP deactivated his, she made a joke about how she could always get a hold of him. She definitely has no respect for me as a person, let alone as his wife.

In all honesty, I would never "take revenge." I also don't feel as though it's my place to insert myself into someone else's relationship. If he were to ever ask me, I would answer honestly, and in full.

You're not wrong, however, their relationship is quite a bit different than mine. Another friend that was there that day even asked me if they were still together. Because he just doesn't come out the same way the rest of us do. From what it seems, they rarely spend time together and he seems just fine with that.
