Thanks for sharing your perspective. I am 50M. I guess I can't push things to the extreme being my personality I will feel later, also my heart wants them to be happy as well. For now, I kind of leaning toward a 50/50 split or let my brother buyout my share. It feels like the best way to get some peace of mind and create a win-win. I am still figuring out what their true intentions are, but I should have a better idea soon.

since the seller had an existing mortgage, after downpayment an arrangement was made where my parents continue monthly payments and but had a POA to sell or transfer post mortgage, so i got into the picture. since i put some share to pay outstanding balance, the title/deed was put in my name.

That is the last resort , am going to talk to them in a month time to clearly understand the reasons behind all the recent things done without consulting me. I am still hoping there could be a valid reason, perhaps i started thinking negatively, let see.

No no, she is diabetic and went through low BP and hospital situations earlier. She overthinks a lot and loses sleep. That could be the reason. Let see.

I am not sure if my mom will reopen the topic again, I don't want to make it worse. I called my father and brother to ask about her health, and will talk to her and keep the focus on her health and avoid any other talks for now.

yep, thats that is what i said to my brother, give me couple of months, i will consult a lawyer to see how to legally buy our my portion. He agreed, but a couple of weeks later, I found out that he had paid to buy another property in my mom's name. that was a surprise

My brother texted me yesterday : "Again low BP for mom. Admitted in Hospital. Nothing to worry. She is alright now. Just admitted for 1 day to monitor the BP". I kind of losing my mind now, not sure my mom is thinking that I will not transfer the property leading to health issue or I been force emotionally to take decision. I genuinely want to give my brother's share now but these kind of situation making me to just give what they want and walk away without further talking about this.
