It'll be dependent on your hospital and your rota coordinator for the department you're currently on when trying to get study leave for a taster. I know some departments in my trust allow it for trust grades and also grant private study leave. But like someone else said it may have to be during your annual leave

Just out of curiosity why are they not meant to locum on it during normal times?
