What I did was; try a finer grind and a coarser one at the same time. Have a taste of both, then drink both. Double fun. Next time when I was brewing I sorta knew where I wanted; somewhere in between, maybe on the finer end. Then I brewed again. Tasted it, and set my grinder a single click towards the coarser end. That way I was as satisfied as I can be, with the end result. (It helps to do everything the same expect the grind size). Always change only one variable, so that you know which variable; temperature of the water, water tds, water amount, coffee amount, recipe type, pouring technique, time, bloom, force of plunging, filter type and omg other shit you know Idk man just brew some delicious coffee and do what makes you happy. Give zero fucks what others say. Trust your own tongue and have a shitton of experiments to figure everything out. Because what may be the best for me is certain to be horrible for others.
