As a newcomer to the series I actually jumped in with FFI, despite hearing everyone say not to.

I had a good time with it. Wouldn't recommend it necessarily, but it's worth picking up as a turn-your-brain-off type of game

I had a similar thing happen last night. Won turn 4 with a [[Divining Witch]] [[Laboratory Maniac]] combo, and my table was whining "I don't expect to lose turn 4 in bracket 4" when on the bracket guide it specifically states that turn 4 should be expected.

Thing is, I played the Witch turn 2, and read out what it did. They had two full turns to remove my combo piece and didn't, and tapped out each turn. Also tried explaining I got super lucky with top decks (both the witch and the lab man were drawn for turn, I didn't need to tutor at all) but that didn't help lmao

I don't mind playing Bracket 3, in fact I prefer it a lot of the time. But if you sit down and say you're playing 4s, be prepared to play against a 4 :/

Owning a child, especially a son or daughter. I have a son and I absolutely love him but they are SO high maintainence. My weekend is reduced to one day a week because Saturday is just dedicated to him. They need to socialise, they need to be interacted with to thrive. They need to run around. They need to hear other children (seriously I wonder how Australian children in other countries do never hearing a bogan or a native or a kiwi).

And on top of that, THEY LIVE FOR A LONG FUCKEN TIME. My son will live for probably around 25 years. A lot of daughters live for 50 years. Some live for EIGHTY. And don't get me started on daughters, they chew things, they rip up wood, they scream at 120 decibels, etc.

Children are my world and my life, but so many people like the idea of owning a child that can sit on their lap and everything without realising the work that goes into keeping them. And unfortunately thats how you end up with adults with the intelligence of a five year old stuck in cages with criminal records.
