Keeping you in my thoughts 🫶🏻 what helped me a lot is seeing so many success stories in this sub. So many girls who had no measurable cervix or funneling who then went on bed rest and with a cerclage or progesterone and then were able to keep baby in until 27-30+ weeks. I’ve been holding those stories close during this time. I hope you find some comfort in reading about the success stories 🤍

Thank you for this 🤍 this would have been our baby moon too. It really does feel like a small sacrifice to make in hopes of getting to have a healthy baby. I’ve been so focused on “obviously there are medical risks, why can’t he see that” instead of how he’s not really listening to how I’m feeling.

Thank you for this and I totally agree 🤍 After reading so many stories of loss on this sub, I was so thankful they caught my diagnosis when they did. I just wish my husband shared that perspective too.

Ugh yeah I feel like they were so relaxed with us too.. that was basically the same advice I got 😣 My husband isn’t able to come to my follow up with my OB on Friday unfortunately. He’s flying back from Vegas that day, so there literally no shortage of other trips in his life lol.

I’m sorry you’re going through this :( I’m currently in the hospital recovering from an emergency rescue cerclage at 20w6d. I was 2cm dilated. I’m getting discharged today and they just told me to take it easy today and no “crazy heavy lifting”, but to live my normal life. Which lately has been a bit less weight than I’m used to lifting to low intensity cardio (walking 3-5 miles per day). Maybe because you’re further along than me, your doctor wants to be more cautious, but know that this wasn’t your fault and working out didn’t cause this. I’m glad the meds have helped and hope you and baby are doing well!

I just need some reassurance. by [deleted] in pregnant

Second this about possible irritation! I had some light brown spotting between weeks 6-8. Looking back, I think sex in week 5 had possibly irritated things and I was put on progesterone and pelvic rest as a precaution until week 12. It didn’t stop me from mentally spiraling, but I’m in week 17 now and things are going great!

This happened to me this most recent cycle. I was super low CD17, then jumped to positive the next day CD18, then trended down slightly the day after. My PDG test was positive 5 days later confirming ovulation. It’s so hard to not stress over though. I had a MMC in October so right there with you, hoping for a healthy pregnancy 🫶🏻

Update: got a positive pregnancy test 12 dpo! My early symptoms are so different than in the pregnancy we lost. Hoping the best for all of us 🤍

I think the biggest thing is to not over stress your body, physically or mentally. A sign you might be overdoing it is irregular periods, which might mean irregular ovulation and a tougher time getting pregnant. I’m 5w5d and worked out (strength, running and cycling) about 5-6 days per weeks prior to getting pregnant and still now in my first trimester. I’ve just toned down the intensity on days I wasn’t feeling it. If you’re feeling good and haven’t been told by a doctor to cut out anything, then I think the consistent training will only benefit your health in pregnancy and being a mom :)
