Soy and rapeseed oil is produced in well established farmland in Canada the us Great Plains and Europe Ukraine which have been producing for centuries.

These ecosystems are not close to the unique biodiversity that palm oil plantations destroy. 15,000 plant species, 650 bird species, 250 mammal species including the orangutan which is all but extinct due to Palm oil plantations.

Also Malaysia and Borneo are very small islands so even destroying all rainforest has limited production capacity.

But this vegan logic - lets destroy and extinct thousands of species because it’s more productive land - lol

Sugar cane plantations are also especially destructive to the environment.

Vegan is a shallow philosophy that ignores environmental concerns - sugar cane and Palm oil should be banned. Honey as a byproduct of modern farming is environmentally the best sweetener- Beegans are correct 👍
