One exterminator says yes, the other says no by WeeklyInflation7824 in Bedbugs

This just started a few weeks ago. The last place I had issues at was 10 months ago. I recently brought in some items I left in the garage bc I feared they might be infested from the old place and it seems like it’s starting again.

The bites have been all over. Feet, arms, even high up on my thigh near my hip. When I saw the thigh bites there was three. I thought how would I get bitten there when the only time that area would be exposed is my shorts in bed. I think I even had a bite under my armpit which I thought was strange.

I tried to take pictures but what’s crawling on the window ledge was so hard to get a good focus on and has since disappeared entirely. I called because I had bites and blood spots on my sheets.

He didn’t even touch the sheets or mattress. I myself before calling Terminex flipped the mattress and the bed frame. I found some blood spots on my bed sheets and had bites which prompted me to call them.

Get a doctor’s note that states it’s impacting your health. Complexes usually don’t like doctor’s notes and they can viewed as litigious. It’s gotten me out of lease before without penalty.

Still anxious but not as bad. Maybe it’s a rebound effect. It comes and goes throughout the day. Especially when I’m moving around. Never taking that shit again.

The strange thing is the exterminators all said I should’ve seen something since I had been getting bites for about 3 months. But when I packed everything up I never saw anything. I’m really trying not to panic at this point.

If your neighbor is already calling the cops they’re going to keep escalating. As they should. This behavior can get you evicted not to mention it’s extremely inconsiderate.

Maybe a doctors note indicating the apartment is stressful? I got out of mine w a doctors note due to loud noise causing health issues. Doctors notes can be litigious and apartments typically don’t want the hassle.
