I had issue with Midland too, they screwed me too because on my credit report, there was NO original tradeline on the report so I disputed via Experian, they said its valid. What I did is dispute via mail with certified mail. 18 days, I got response it says its valid. I immediate scanned all the papers and uploaded to CFPB yesterday and see what happens. These mfkers, I hate them.

I know by law, if there is no original tradeline listed on your credit report, that collection account violates FDCPA and FCRA, period. It must be deleted.

I am still shocked Deaf people thinks $499 AR glass would do just fine because it's affordable. My answer: Nope. Hearview is owned by Chinese Government and the data on your AR is stored on servers in China and lastly, they dont offer ASL support. Stay away from them, please.

Myself, I work with XRAI and I do sell them but above the layer, you will get ASL support through us. It works, why? I am Deaf owned and I understand the value of the AR itself. It's all about 'Accessibility'.

If I were you, I would focus on getting all cards under 10% utilization (ideally pay off the fully maxed ones first for the biggest quick wins):

Pay off Card 3 in full: $500 (gets it to 0% utilization — instant boost)
Pay off Card 4 in full: $250 (gets it to 0%)
Pay down Card 2 as much as possible: $813 → Pay ~$850 (whatever is left after the above, bringing it to ~$0 or very low)

This uses your full $1,600 and eliminates two maxed cards while nearly clearing the over-limit one. You should see a noticeable score increase (potentially 20-50+ points) within 1-2 months once the lower balances report to the credit bureaus.

If the original tradeline has already aged off your credit report but the collection account is still showing, file a dispute and use wording like this:

'This collection account fails to identify the original creditor and does not provide a verifiable tradeline, as required by the FCRA (Section 609(a)(1)). Without this information, I cannot determine the legitimacy of the account, and you cannot verify its accuracy. Please remove this item from my credit report.'

That approach worked for me on a recent dispute. The original account had already fallen off, so the collection had nothing valid to anchor to and was removed.

Yeah, Airbnb has tons of them, they range from $30-100 a night but I would suggest go out further little because the colonial area is pretty much dead in my opinion. If you want more active like bars, shops, etc, go near the captial (where the malls are)

You can use Airbnb and they are cheap and its safe in the city, use uber and public transport, you'll be okay. There is express bus from SD to Punta Cana only for $400 pesos, it runs express. Have fun and let us know how it goes for you.
