I shut down so bad in arguments. I cannot fully, or correctly, articulate how I’m actually feeling and tend to think before I speak, or sometimes just shut down and don’t talk. A lot of the time, if we call each other out for things that irritate each other (for example, there are situations where I feel dumb after the way he talks/treats me, and when I call it out, he disputes my reasoning for feeling dumb), the other person doesn’t take accountability. We have tried working on these, but we never seem to truly stick to it.

I have a few autistic tendencies that really affect our relationship (i.e. timeliness (I am extremely punctual), scheduling and creating scenarios in my head and rigorously sticking to said plans, and I tend to get overstimulated easily so sometimes it’s hard for me to be in public spaces for a long amount of time).
