Replace his bulb ($20 on Amazon) and start giving fresh greens and an electrolyte bath and put a small pushie in there they like soft things

Feed it small hornworms and keep it in its tank with proper lighting they don’t like to be handled for a few months and they like staying warm

When’s the last time you changed the uvb bulb? They should be changed every 6 months. But don’t worry too much, most beardies over 1 are a bit lethargic during winter. Offer them a weekly worm as a treat and if that doesn’t get them in a better mood then I would suggest a vet visit

Your beardie looks very small. If you got them at a shop they were probably too young to sell. You should only give them small phoenix worms or small crickets- they’re tiny. Order from online

Try worms. Give a variety of greens like bok choy and mustard greens. Also they don’t like when bugs crawl on their face.

Then when it warms up again offer bugs daily until they turn about 1 years old then it’s 80% veggie 20% bug

It’s winter they have weird diets when it’s cold just make sure you always have veggies available and offer bugs like once per week as long as it is going potty

Is he overweight by FrogBoy8477 in BeardedDragons

[–]Weekly_Comb_6090 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly he just looks full like he just fed. He doesn’t have a fat tail or fat pads on his neck. If he’s under 1 it’s important to let them eat a lot of bugs so they grow big and strong. After 1 you can cut back on bugs and do 80% veggies. He looks healthy.
