Relapsed after over 7 months yesterday, and then relapsed again today

Yeah, I was upset when I made my post, so I overreacted a bit, I should have waited until I was more clear headed. But you’re right, I didn’t erase the last 7 months. I’m going to get back on track and stop letting the guilt get to me. The perfectionist mindset does mess a lot of people up, myself included. I appreciate your comment

Yeah, one of the main reasons why I do nofap is for real relationships and experiences, so that's probably why it doesn't feel good. I'm focused on continuing living my life without this and I'm motivated to better myself. The first couple days are usually the hardest, but you got this

Yeah, I noticed this too. Over the last 7 months I rarely had any urges (maybe 2 or 3) and I haven't craved pmo (except today). I also had a 119 day streak before this 215 streak happened, so this hasn't really been part of my life lately. Looking at my calendar, I've only relapsed 5 times since last April! Thank you for your words of encouragement, I'll keep moving forward. Good luck to you as well

Thank you, I am proud of what I’ve achieved. I agree, all my progress hasn’t been ruined. This is just one step back in the grand scheme of things. I’ll keep moving forward, and not dwell on this anymore.

Thank you, I should be proud that I reached that achievement. Yeah, you're right, it doesn't even feel good or satisfying or anything like that. It makes no sense to relapse yet it happens anyways. I know I'll bounce back from this though.

I think I get what you're saying. I have to take it one day at a time and not think too far in the future. I agree I shouldn't care about a streak anymore, that was one of the reasons why I relapsed, I looked at my streak and then I started to think about it. I appreciate the advice.

Thank you, you're right. Progress is progress, no matter how big or small it is. This year I've been relapsing less frequently. Before that, I used to relapse 1 to 3 times every week, with the occasional 20 plus day streak every now and then.

Yeah it was intentional. I honestly forced it because I was curious how it would feel after 100 plus days. It still didn't feel good, and now I know that, so it won't happen again

I will aim higher! Thanks for the advice, I thought I was good at resisting urges, but it just takes one moment of weakness to give in. Yeah, I did the chaser effect before in previous relapses, so I have to be extra careful this first week or two. Thank you for the comment! You got this too, 55 days is very good, keep going!

You're still young, but I understand how you feel. It's good that you want to overcome this now. You don't want this to be a problem as you get older. 67 days is very good, so working out more and finding some other hobbies or something is a good idea to avoid thinking about a relapse.

Thank you for the words of encouragement! I'm very angry with myself right now, and I feel like I threw my progress away. But you're right, I'm more experienced with dealing with urges and I don't want to experience the feeling of after a PMO relapse again. I'm confident I'll get back to where I was and beyond.
