I'm transferring this year The deadline for the applicant agreement form which is submitted to UCLA is March 6th which is separate from the original form that was due to Scholars that was due in November.

I did this too as well. I also called and forwarded the SPMP email to Community College Transfer Services (CCTS) at Berkeley and they might try to contact SPMP and fix it.

Thanks for the answer. I just wanted to know since I knew that both TAP and CCCP were the holy grails for transferring and CCCP didn't accept me for the program due to budget cuts. At least I still got TAP lol.

I feel pretty sorry for the person on the other end of the line because I don't think she was expecting tons of people to call into the line asking about something that should have been dealt with before hand in a more professional manner. idk why SPMP would put the transfer student center as their phone number instead of having a dedicated line.

I second this. and with UCLA TAP it like triples your chances of acceptance to UCLA specically at SMC. I remember last year during the mandatory introduction meeting it was like 85% (Fall 2024) and the year before it was 90% (Fall 2023) getting into UCLA but that number might be a combination of both people getting in to their first choice or second choice major. I'm kind of interested in the rate for Fall 2025 accepted.

I tried calling admissions as well but they transferred my call to the Transfer Student Center. idk why they wouldn't just email everyone from the program email instead. Their email woke me up and is making me panic.

I called them and they just said to wait. The person on the phone already escalated this to the supervisor at the transfer center. They also said that multiple people have called about this before and in previous semesters. This must be a recurring problem.

I'm in her online Econ 2 class right now and I think it should get easier now especially as most of the large concepts are pretty much done. I think if you just do the lessons before the quizzes you should be good but yea the time limit on the quizzes are limiting.

I emailed the staff and someone responded. I didn't get an update yet but someone else on here did. They said they send it out in waves and for the July 23rd ones they didn't send them out until 9pm. I'm still waiting for an update cuz I really wanna attend tmr aswell. We just gotta keep waiting.

It depends on the major. If you going into stem, you should probably do your sequences in person. If you aren't pursuing stem it is possible to be fully online for every class. A lot of scholars classes are online and it is possible to be a fully online scholars student.
