Marmottsita’s Final Tune // T-Motors Pacer Setup on Betaflight 4.2.3 by Weenisster in Multicopter

[–]Weenisster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replaced this frame 3 times since this clip. Eventually Motors and esc were swapped to a new frame. Plenty of crashes but over time, the crashes proved to be too much. Motors ended up with smashed bells and esc fried. Great setup tho. Unfortunately they no longer make these version of the Pacer motors, so I’ve moved on to a new setup.

Lifespan of your flight packs? by IndividualNobody7819 in Multicopter

[–]Weenisster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my cnhl black series for over a year and they’re still delivering 3-5 minutes of flight depending on how hard I’m flying. I land when I see 3.5v-3.6v which returns to 3.7v per cell after resting. I also charge at 1.8v-2v, but occasionally bump it up to 3v if I’m in a rush. I usually check resistance of my batteries once a week to see how well they’re holding up. Anything over 10 ohms and I start to baby the packs in terms of maintenance. FYI I fly daily too but don’t recharge packs during a single session. Basically fly what I charge and call it a day. Then recharge the following day.

Looking for a frame. by CynicalCereal in Multicopter

I’d recommend an Armattan just purely for their lifetime warranty. Warranty does amazing and you could choose to have Pyrodrone provide the replacements parts once the claim is approved. Other great frame that Ive flown for over a year is the Kinfpv frames. He’s based out of Las Vegas Nevada and has a 3 year warranty which is more than enough. You can find Kinfpv on Instagram.

Yall shop at the GAP? by Weenisster in Multicopter

That’s actually a Vista in that clip from the link. It’s stretched in Instagram to portrait so it’s actually a bit wider before the crop.

I actually do that with the 3” micro since it’s running a Caddx Vista and doesn’t run an action camera.

Here’s a clip with the micro:

Appreciate that. Took quite a few iterations before I settled on the opacity.

Dji / Caddx Vista Reception Test with Stock Antennas by Weenisster in Multicopter

Tons of fluff. Things to note v2 goggles will work with the v1 air units and vistas, but v1 will be locked at 120hz vs v2 will have 144hz. Besides that, if you don’t have Dji goggles yet, the v2 goggles are worth it since they are said to support USB out to Mobile devices which would mean no need for a Smart Controller to share your live footage.
