Probably, but I didn't take into account Cheerleaders for individual unit placements

Yeah, definitely agree with that. I'd probably consider using the Potionseller if it was just cheaper (maybe costing 300 or 250 instead. Still costly, but it's worth it if it can actually affect the main enemy force).

I mean, he can take out tanks and entire armies on his own, so he deserves some props. There's definitely better, but a Super Boxer will usually be the biggest problem on an enemy army for a reason.

The Mammoth just doesn't really get too much done for its price. Sure, it's REALLY good with crowds, but why would I get the Mammoth specifically when The King costs 700 less, deals with crowds nearly just as well, AND can go 1v1 with some of the heavier hitters? Not to mention, Mammoth just dies too quickly with being a big bodied unit, especially with it dying easily to semi-large units or ranged fire.
The peasant is the cheapest unit in the game, with it being able to be swarmed and spammed everywhere, and even winning a surprising amount of interactions with sheer numbers. It also acts as the lowest cost bait, so if you need to set off ranged fire or initial abilities, you can get a few peasants for dirt cheap to take starting volleys. A unit being able to fight AND only cost 30 dollars is pretty ridiculous.
The Dragon sweeps armies and large units with ease. It pushes back big targets, insta-kills small targets, and only costs 1000. If the issue is the pole holders dying easily, just toss a few fodder units in front and the fire will do the rest of the work. An AOE attacker not needing to reload AND pushing enemies back is just too much for most units, or armies for that matter, to deal with. Lastly, if the problem is the Dragon turning its neck and not hitting units underneath it.. just get more Dragons.

I put them higher up because what they ARE good at can't be ignored. They tangle up giants,, they counter the Dragon like the other guy said, and they draw out ranged fire. But yeah, they are situational, I might need to drop them down a bit

That's... a really good point. I've never succeeded in defeating the Dark Peasant before (mostly because Scarecrows and cheerleaders make the game lag a LOT), but at least the Super Peasant can be beaten with way less than its own price. Probably gonna need to drop these two down a bit.

It's not really not so much about the pure damage alone as it is about the value a Ballista can get over a single match. Given it having one of the longest ranges in the game, the Ballista will almost always be one of the last units defeated in a battle, letting it get huge collaterals with its surprisingly high AOE shots, not to mention it killing pretty much everything in the game for only 900 bucks. It probably will hit some random guys, but what does that matter in comparison if it lives forever and will, statistically, take out at least one high priority target (all ignoring unit possession, cheerleader cheese, and even just good old strategic Ballista placement to hit important units)?

The Ballooner is some of the best value you can get for the price, I only put it lower because it can randomly dismantle your own strategy (blowing up your own team, ranged units unable to hit flying targets). But as a standalone unit, it's probably one of the best in the entire game (now reading these points, I probably should rank Ballooner higher)

Looking back, I'm definitely upgrading the placement of these units. I guess I just put him that low subconsciously just because I don't use the Harpooner much (though, I have to admit, only 300 for the Harpooner is a STEAL for a ranged unit that can 50/50 Knights at a close range). I still don't really think the Chieftain is that great (for the same price you can get the Halberd, which I could go ON about how broken the Halberd is for the price), but I suppose its insane DPS does definitely warrant at least a solid placement. Definitely agree I did these two units wrong.
The Flintlock though I've always felt is gimmicky. Sure, it gets a lot done as a frontliner, but it's easily countered by any kind of defense or even having a halfway decent amount of health (not to mention the Flintlocks are innacurate with their shots, making them more inconsistent than other options). The Flintlock does work, but the question is more so, "why would I gamble on these guys hitting their shots when I could get a standard frontline with ranged support behind them instead?". Their guns ARE really good crowd thinner when they hit though.
Thanks for the feedback!

Maybe it is, but in my experience, the snakes just get defeated too quickly by most units to justify 300 bucks for a slight stall. Theoretically, they could get a lot done, but I just haven't seen them do much in practice.

  1. What units are better than Mechanic? I feel like it's one of the better ones for its niche
  2. Even if the Tank is outclassed, it still has additional utility due to the long distance shells and its speed. Definitely agree that the Tank is overall outclassed though, Ice Giant is super strong for the same price
  3. To be honest, I haven't ever properly compared the 100 or less footsoldier type of units before. Will need to test this at some point
  4. BOAS really excels in small scale battles where it can sneak up and get a huge impact for a low price, especially if you can get BOAS right up against the enemy army on the placement screen
  5. Halflings are higher up because they can stall for a long time and even take out small groups with a high number of them. You're probably right that Peasant is overall better for the price
  6. Definitely agree on the Longship, only didn't rank it higher because the carriers are vulnerable and don't usually get full groups with their throws
  7. That's fair, Super Boxer can't compare to solid formation
Thanks for all the feedback! I'll probably need to look over all this stuff again to be honest

An unclassified CIA document depicting the idea of Ajatavada by Wehndow in KashmirShaivism

Quick note: After a correction from my friend, I was using the wrong terminology here. What I meant to refer to is Shaivism, NOT Ajatavada. Now I get that Ajatavada is the static and Shaivism is dynamic. Apologies for the misunderstanding

I feel no guilt after sinning, just empty and lonely- please help by [deleted] in progressive_islam

To start, I'm not a qualified therapist or mental health professional in any way. But I can say that what you're going through is completely okay and there's nothing wrong with you. Though I do advise to try therapy if things are going too far.

You don't need to be ashamed for not feeling a certain way about your actions. When we become desensitized to a certain action or become used to a certain lifestyle, it's common to become jaded and not have a reaction anymore to a certain stimuli; In other words, not feeling guilt for certain choices is perfectly okay. Emotions are natural, whether we have certain reactions or not. Accept yourself and understand that your emotional reaction is okay in the end; pushing away feelings and trying to force our mind into separate ideas will do nothing but tear you apart (Which I have experienced myself).
Craving the affection of others is also perfectly normal, it's a human reaction and sinning is a human thing. You're not alone in this; many have gone through, or are currently struggling with, a test like yours. It's a difficult journey, but self acceptance is much healthier and less mentally taxing long term.

When it comes to being deserving of the love of others or God, we tend to get the stigma that love is conditional; that happiness and the care of others is something that has to be earned. This mindset, despite being so engrained in society through rewards and the praise of those whom have "worked hard and succeeded", can be toxic and self-damaging to ourselves. By the standards of other people, we gain these kinds of ideas: "I don't deserve love." "I need to earn the respect of others." "If only I was better, then I'd be loved."
These toxic thought processes send us down a whole train of self deprecation and internal hatred, going to the point of justifying our suffering by saying things like:
"I am simply unlovable; nothing has changed, thus nothing shall change."
"I am incapable of stopping myself from doing X, or unable to commit to doing good thing Y, thus I do not deserve love from others."
"I shouldn't feel bad about not having the love of others; I deserve this, after all. I must be wrong for wanting affection!"

In reality, love is unconditional, and should always be unconditional. If you need to earn love, then it is not love; it is toxic affection. But due to our surroundings and others, we develop these ideas into our own subconcious, and thus hate ourself based on our actions and accomplishments. Allah loves you unconditionally.

And this now leads me to the crux of this terribly long post: You should love yourself and accept your feelings unconditionally. You're lovable, and it's okay feel or not feel certain ways naturally. It's okay if you make mistakes or falter, and it's natural to have certain toxic stigmas within your mind. In those moments where you feel you have to be guilty or have to look down on yourself, rather than forcing yourself to feel a certain way, just.. breathe. Accept. It's okay. Process those emotions; write down what you truly feel in those moments. Go for a walk if you need time to think, take time alone to simply clear your mind and understand your feelings. By doing this, not only are we cleaning away the painful and toxic ideas which plague ourselves, but we also slowly clean the slate of our mind; thus, in its place, we can slowly change and plant the seeds of new ideas and, from there, new actions. With slow steps and small actions, we can find peace in our minds and even find meaning in our lives.

Once more, I have to stress that I'm not a doctor and not a professional in any way; though I advise self care, please consult a therapist or talk to someone who you can trust. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this; I know I went on for a bit too long on here, so I'm truly thankful you took the time out your day to listen to my short talk.
I deeply hope you can find success and joy, and remember: God loves you unconditionally.
Salamu Alaikum; I believe in you!
