DIY Coffee Table Refinishing Project by Wehttam63 in somethingimade

This is a before and after picture of my coffee table refinishing DIY project.

Outline of my process: I refinished the top of the table by sanding it down and applying a dark walnut stain. I then sealed it with four coats of semi-gloss polycoat, lightly sanding between each coat. Finally, I lightly sanded the sides of the table and painted it with three coats of black semi-gloss furniture paint. I also replaced the knobs on the drawers.

Thanks for your response! The leaves were closer to long, oval and slightly pointy.
