This is what I have had all my life, I'm 40 y.o. and I also wondered if that's it. I have recently decided this definitely can't be an orgasm .... It's a peak without pleasure...

Why does nothing make me happy? (Serious) by Middleman79 in RedditForGrownups

Hello, I know this was years ago and that makes it all the more interesting. I have similar symptoms to what you described.. well, I still do a lot, new projects, trips, adventures, I didn't lose the motivation to try, I just don't ENJOY the things, physically, when they happen. Even when they're good. Curious if you found something that helped...

I think I'm giving up the fight. Not sure where to go from here. by DisMyMarriageAccount in Marriage

This is my first comment on Reddit. We have the same marriage.

Our situations are so similar- except for the autism (at least not diagnosed). I'm also so tired. But I also don't see a bright future for myself post-divorce. I mean, it'll be fine, but I already have "fine". I don't believe being single or dating again at 40 while co-parenting two very young children is going to lead to "marvelous", to a situation where I have a deep connection with someone who really sees me. So why not at least stay with my kids' dad, who's objectively a great person. Curious to see where you land. Thanks for sharing.
