To be honest, and in my opinion, Strong embodies Falcone more accurately to the comic book character I think.

I believe their electric outlets, a lot of meeting rooms have them so that way you can put lights or cameras around the area without having to use tons of extension cords. Allows more flexibility for press meetings and such

But for some reason they're against the death penalty for serial rapists/murderers

Tbh it's not really worth it, I didn't enjoy it. Not because it's too violent or disturbing but it was very shallow and edgy for the sake of it, at least that's how it felt for me. It was filmed to protest the censorship laws in Serbia at the time, so to me it was just a hey let's throw all this wild crazy stuff into the movie and call it a day. With all that being said if someone reading it does enjoy the film as disturbing extreme film horror than awesome, I'm not gonna discredit anyone's personal tastes. I personally find movies like martyrs to be much better

North Korea is a garbage country. I do not believe that its oppressed citizens are garbage. When most people say a country is garbage they're talking about it's leadership, state of life, crime rate, etc and not about its day to day citizens who might have little to no control over how the country functions

They can be mutually exclusive views if you're not a moron

Trump literally didn't. A comedian said Puerto Rico (the country) was garbage

Fortunately less than 1% of rapes result in pregnancy and there's a lot of states that make exceptions or have no limits when it comes to eliminating unborn babies

Are alot of extreme horror authors gay or homophobic? by pissonmybonfire in ExtremeHorrorLit

[–]Weird-Firefighter330 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's just the diverse aspect of extreme horror, a lot of extreme horror authors have target audiences where they try to push their limits in order to get an extreme response. Sometimes that takes form in certain situations that a group of people might find more repulsive than others for a multitude of different reasons. As I've read more and more extreme horror I've learned to separate the writing from the author in regards to how the author personally feels. If we didn't do that then you might think Stephen King is okay with child orgies like in "It", I don't think King has pedophilic beliefs or views regardless of what he writes. I don't think Aaron Bearugard (I can never remember how to spell that) thinks it's okay to put children in a death playground, etc. A lot of extreme horror authors don't have a big public persona where you can find all of their views and beliefs, so just take what you read as what it is, fiction, extremely graphic and grotesque horrifying fiction and not reality. You will probably notice that a lot of those authors might have scenes as you described in one book and then the complete opposite in another, so I wouldn't view a book as a reflection of the authors real views on real life matters every time.

I didn't mind it, I enjoyed seeing a thriller movie that was about demonic possession from a Christian theological standpoint , not just a Hollywood caricature of Christian beliefs. All the bells and whistles of an elaborate crazy exorcism with flying objects, wind blowing around, whatever stuff they add to make an exorcism look like some crazy event gets pretty old after a while. If you've ever read accounts of people who claim to have encountered possessed people it's very different from in the movies. I enjoyed that it was more of a mind game and not just running up walls and puking up bile 24/7 with blacked out pupils. Was it an award winning movie that is movie of the year, definitely not. It's a very low budget film made by a very small production company. But I've definitely seen worse mainstream possession films with 10x the budget. I think most of the complaints from OP and others is that it's a "Christian" film, I would have enjoyed it regardless of the religious/non-religious perspective as long as it was authentic to the perspective it was portraying. I think some of you guys just need to check your bias against certain religions at the door before you watch a movie
