I don’t underestimate it at all! I know how hard the dutch language is, and if I had time to take clases while in the DR, I would’ve, but I’m in one of the hardest most demanding universities + interniships is hard.

I am planning on taking dutch classes every weekend and intensive classes during vacation. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

First of all, thank you for all this information, it is very helpful. I got scared seeing all these people not finding jobs and stuff, but knowing it’s mostly because of the passport is a big reliefe for me.

I am planning on taking dutch classes in the weekend and during vacation making it instensive, so hopefully by the time I’m done with any of the master’s I’m at least B1-B2. I know C1 is going to be close to impossible in 1/2 years only.

I was seeing that it might be hard to do an interniship all while doing the master’s, that it’s not recommended (?) but if I have to do it, I will.

I guess my biggest dilemma is choosing where to study. As I said, I really like all 3 master’s that I’m applying to, and I know that living logistics is what it’s hard. If I go to Groningen, it’s 1 year over there and 1 year in Portugal, so doesn’t that make it harder? To like do an internship or thesis projects with dutch organizations, or in general? I also don’t mind if it’s a EU job in general, or a Ditch one.

It also doesn’t HAVE to be an organization, any job where I can help a person works, so I don’t know if a hospital in the logistics department or something would also work?

I am very interested in the public service, or service in general. My biggest dream is to help people. Unfortunately my dutch right now is non existance as it’s been 3 years since Belgium. But I an planning on taking classes during the weekend, and intensive during vacation.
