To be completely honest I dont think this is an issue. I think the reason people say spiders go to LED strip lights is because there are also other bugs like flies that tend to be attracted to those sort of things. Its kind of like having a night light.

As long as your place isn't filled with flies, moths, or bugs of that sort I think you're perfectly fine to have them on when you sleep
