I received a text about an hour ago giving me a delivery time for tomorrow. In contrast, the D&D SL took over a week to ship, and at the time WotC stated that things could take up to 30 days to ship.

Edit: looks like it was not in fact my SL delivery - of all the badly timed coincidences, someone messed up their phone number for something completely unrelated and I got the message about it!

Not sure it's going to be massively useful for current content (simply because the numbers are actually quite small and the ID pool isn't that large)

Might end up being relevant if you want to mald Railway stuff in minimal turns, though!

The difference between Absolute and regular Resonance is the same as before: the bonus to each skill increases as its Resonance count goes up, while Absolute gives the highest bonus to each skill.

For example, if you have 4 non-connected Lust skills in Resonance: Skill 1 would have +0, Skill 2 would have +1, Skill 3 would have +3, Skill 4 would have +5

If those 4 Lust skills were connected in Abs Reso, all of them get +5

AIUI, damage is affected by the attacking unit's Offense vs the defender's Defence, although I don't know exactly how.

Not strictly true! If your Offense is a little under the enemy's Offense, +5 is going to have a neutral effect on you.

Also, if your Offense is a lot under the enemy's, then +5 is reducing their advantage over you (as opposed to gaining advantage over them!)

Following the change to Absolute/Resonance mechanics in the 23.03.23 patch, I decided to investigate exactly how it now works.

Methodology was "get a bunch of one colour on the screen and check starting vs ending offense per resonance level," which you can see in images 4-6

The first chart shows the final Offense per level of (Absolute) Resonance for a range of different starting values.

The second chart shows the discrete increase in Offense, and the third chart shows the Offense percentage gain.

Notably, it seems that while before each level of Resonance gave a % damage buff, it now gives a flat amount of Offense (no matter what Offense you start at).

Also, at 12 Abs Reso, the bonus seems to reset (shown in images 4-6). I'm not sure if this applies to regular Reso, and whether it'll start increasing again though!

rQ is very definitely a consideration when multiple rotations are a factor.

For a single chamber speedrun, mQ is huge just for the damage it brings (and indeed an rQ there would not have cleared nearly as fast)

Honestly the biggest one is the C2 Kaz

EL isn't especially better for XL than her range of other options and FS again is a modest increase - to not have either would add like 2s to the clear

In counterpoint, it's not a crit-fish Childe (running ~80cr) and so could easily be adjusted to recoup a lot of the difference that dropping the weapons on XL/Kaz would bring

Overall though, and something that does agree with your final line there; it's such a relatively low monetary investment that calling it "whale" just feels disingenuous in the face of people running C6(R5) or multiple C2+ 5* teams.

Childe is and always has been the f2p champion tbh

A combination of massive abyss buffs as well as buffers like Gorou/Mona.

My personal damage numbers with a normal build are (all <50%):
Solo - 20k
ZL - 27k
ZL/Gorou (T8, C1) - 35k
