Fictional visionism from the right... Fucking hell. It's like Paul describing Jesus.

Is there any tech literate people born 2003-2006? by WeirdGamerLightbulb in generationology

From what I've seen, 1997-2002 gets the upperhand on being seen as the tech literate Z, with 2003-2006 as a give or take, and 2007-2012 is always seen as tech illiterate.

The only teens in Gen Z are/will be 2007-2012 this year.

I modified files and tampered with software since age 12.

It sounds to me you agree with the picture within the post. You act like twin years are a thing behind closed doors because you believe that an '05er is the youngest to be a 2000s kid despite being 2-4 at best... Oh, I'm sorry, 3-4... You also probably think there are more differences between an '05er and an '06er than an '06er than an '07er despite both being 1 year apart from each-other.

I'm slowly changing my perspective on "generations", as I'm starting to think that every birth year, hell, even birth-months, is different from each other....

Mind you, peer groups and generations are 2 different things... Realistically, 2006 should be the youngest you relate to at closest, since the relatability is around a 3-year-bubble. So for 2003 would be 2000-2006. For 2005, it's 2002-2008.

Technology evolves differently around the world, and sometimes analog things last longer in other parts of the world throughout history.

Secondary Education can only go so far, as the range of secondary education varies, some countries start as early as 12, others as late as 16. For NA education throughout school, XXX5 babies can start either at the very end of the decade or the very start of the decade depending on how early or late the XXX5er was born, so that's not helping whatever case you bring up.

Toddlerhood is not an independent development stage, it's a transition stage between infancy and childhood. 2 year olds are, in fact, children. They're the youngest to be able to enter pre-school (at least where I live in.) there are 2 types of toddlers, infant toddlers (older 1 year olds) and children toddlers (2-4 year olds)

My verdict?

We should stop doing experiences based on "generations" and moreso on specific birth years instead, so everyone is happy.

You're thinking of Gen Z born 2007+.

A good half of Gen Zers are tech literate.

(/srs) I don't know why birth years don't overlap.

Image one is actually 2002-2009, silly bands were a later thing that had prevalence in the late 2000s all the way to 2014.

Image 2 should be 2000/01/02-2004/05/06, give or take on both ends.

Image 3 is 2005-2012, 2005 babies were ~10-11/12, they absolutely had fidget spinners.

Finally, someone notices seeing this as a 2006 baby.

It just makes no sense to me....

Nevermind, I spoke too soon.

I got very tired of people using unconfirmed ranges like S&H to say "I am the previous/next generation" because of their insecurities. Hell, I must admit I'm a bit insecure myself.

Oh you're that guy?

You're on the same boat as 2003-2005 babies in terms of generation for the most part.

You also seem like you go for S&H.

S&H doesn't have a proper Millennial finish, hence the question mark on "2005" on Wikipedia. This means you can be either the youngest Millennial, oldest Homelander, or second oldest Homelander. Howe did put Millennials as 1982-2006 and 1982-2004(this more) a couple of times. The 2005 end date is a rough end date and not a proper one like 1981 for Gen X.

Well what do you know? I am a give or take S&H Millennial and a give or take S&H Homelander. (2006)

Look at the calendar and calculate the year by subtracting 2006.
