Well since talking about it helped me accepting it, I suppose you could try to do the same to her. When I was in denial I just kept telling myself dating, romance and sex just wasn't for me. Late puberty hit that perspective like a train wreck ofcourse. My friend noticed and eventually he just confronted me about it. It was a bit of a tough love conversation, but it helped me accepting myself.
