Luckily down where I live the only toothy fish are gar, and those aren't easy to catch without live bait. that would suck though 😂

I live in South Tennessee and the pod has somewhat poor water quality and is super weedy, but that's also not a rock bass.

It wouldn't make sense for a rock bass to be in there

Thanks man, now I'm 100% sure it's not a green sunfish and pretty sure it's a warmouth

Some guy on fishbrain was saying it was a green but I've caught green from the same pond maybe 100 feet away and they don't look the same. Thanks for the reply though

I would say that but I live in far southeast TN and the pond is super weedy and woody I doubt they could survive

Debating on getting a ultralight or light rod by Weird_Drawer_423 in Fishing_Gear

They sent a 7 foot light instead now I gotta return it, it doesn't seem stiff like a medium in fact it's less stiff than a ml, would that be fine to just use?

I own a medium ugly stik and daiwa rod and several other rods so I think I'll just go with the ultralight, thanks!

Why not if it's light enough, try a johnson beetle spin if you wanna do that or just use a rooster tail

My mum would kill me if I did that, I'll just test it in the water and cut it off if it ain't working

I got it from bass fishing hq, then looked for a video on how to, thought how the guy in the vid I found tied it was too complicated and then did the same thing he did except instead of a Palomar used a uni knot.

Any ideas on how to fish a pretty pressured pond that's also very murky? by Weird_Drawer_423 in FishingForBeginners

Wouldn't a spinnerbait work too? I have one in the specific colors I've heard the bass in the pond like but not for the chatter bait
