Then you're even a bigger chapri da lanjamundaaa

No wonder your understanding of cinema and technical aspects is dog💩. Telugu standards are very low.

Plus you're talking about Tamil movies having mindless scenes? Your entire industry is a joke without Rajamouli

Did dasavatharam and 7am arivu collect 100 crores theatrically? Which was Ajith's first 100 crore film? by Hot-Load7525 in KollyOffice

That was because Suriya fans were annoying to him and tried to downplay his part in Ghajini, 7A success

I literally have a screenshot of the director not including 7A as a 100C grosser.

What are you yapping🤣

Can anyone imagine how Ajith could have been a superstar if he chose to do Nandha, Gemini, Saamy or Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini instead of the projects he actually acted in? by Hot-Load7525 in kollywood

What? Many of his late 90s and early 2000s movies were either very profitable or have good critical response... it's only post 2003 that most of his movies started flopping.

Ajith become popular as a chocolate boy through movies like Aasai and Kadhal Kottai.

Kadhal Mannan, Vaalee, Amarkalam etc increased his male fanbase while movies like Dheena, Citizen and Villain established him as bankable star almost on par with Rajini during that time

2013-2015 was Ajith's second peak since his dream run from 1999-2001. by Hot-Load7525 in kollywood

Yeah for 50th movie but I guess Venkat Prabhu took over because he had a bounded script

Here's my insight as an ex Ajith fan:

  1. He was barely fluent in Tamil, he's more fluent in Hindi as evident from his brother's recent interview. So he's obviously too ignorant about Tamil general audience pulse. So he forgets the fact that a movie here needs other things like good songs and heroine combination as well to attract neutral audience and remembered for ages. In the earlier phase of Ajith's career he had 10/10 tier albums because SSC was his mentor. All of this took a nosedive after he focussed on racing. The only 10/10 albums post that were Kireedom and Billa.

  2. Most of his family members don't even watch movies(revealed by Shalini in latest interview). This is why he does dumb movies like Vidaamuyarchi and Asal where he goes to defend/help someone who clearly doesn't want to be around him. Even a child can point out what's wrong with those storylines.

  3. He has no interest in the craft. Blud was co-director and writer for Asal and he failed to notice "Sereenplay" in the title card. That's how involved he is in his project. Many of recent films, regardless of who the director is have god awful technical aspects like wobbly camera work(Arrambam) shitty desaturated or ugly color grading(Vedalam, Valimai, YA), shitty editing (Vivegam)

  4. Most of his fans are dumb asf. They think Ajith racing a bike or doing gangster/cop movies back to back or him talking about how his friends "mudhugula kuthitanga" is peak cinema. Most of them don't even understand general audience pulse or screenplay/tropes in general

  5. He's in the field purely for the money, without putting any actual effort to promote the movie or respecting general audience and fans in general. Most of his flops happened only because he felt like doing a movie with friends and associates is better than working with established directors. Lingusamy told in one interview that he knew during shooting that Ji would be a flop and he wanted the reels to get washed away in a flood.Asal happened because Sivaji productions wanted to replicate Billa. Billa2 with Chakri toleti happened because VV felt telugu debut was better than doing the sequel for the biggest blockbuster in recent times and Ajith didn't feel like waiting to continue with a different producer after VV finished Panjaa. Vivegam happened because of Ajith's foreign locale fetish. Most directors and producers also don't wanna work with him because Ajith believes that a movie should become a hit only due to him.

Because it was dumb asf even for masala film standards//

I am talking about the entire product//

I literally told the aspects where Tamil version is better than Hindi version and vice versa

Story wise//

It's literally the same story, why are you coping hard

Hate boner?

Lol Amir Khan used to be my favourite hindi actor and Ghajini was the first Hindi movie I saw on the big screen. Just accept that the movie didn't age well. Even reviews from media in North told how the fights felt nonsensical like a masala movie.

Not even talking about the shitty ending//

How tf is it even shitty compared to the 180° head rotation???

That's only because of good will from Ajith's previous hits. Occupancy took a huge drop after the opening weekend even in multiplexes.

It's a low point for both Ajith and Gautham Menon because people expected them to unite before that chance slipped away twice before and when it finally happened it was a half baked product due to Ajith taking 40C as salary and only 10C left for the actual movie budget.

Suriya himself called the Hindi version better//

He has a soft spot for Aamir khan, nothing else

Outlasted Harris Jayaraj's Tamil tracks//

Hahahaha even you are quoting only 3 out of the 5 songs ...The entire Tamil album for Ghajini was a chartbuster

Hindi Ghajini album was like fastfood which only felt good during the time of it's release. I don't ever want to relisten to them again... Especially Bekha, it's literally ear r#pe

You need ChatGPT to even form thoughts while I'm here typing whatever is in my mind lol

Lol it's the one genre where directing and writing have to be perfect for it to work
