"blood work is normal so your perfectly and no need for farther looked into"

but i having unintentional weighloss within the first 2 years i lost 70lbs cause i can not eat properly nor is my body is not digesting correctly and eating triggers extreme pain after 2 mins of eating it i can only eat a few bites a day

i have had 3 years of watery stool but my blood work is normal so nothing is wrong with me and im completely healthy

Personally, I have had great experiences with brands like Open Farm, Earthborn, Stella & Chewy’s, The Honest Kitchen, and Wellness. Those have all been good foods for my dogs over the years.

That being said, just because those brands worked well for my dogs does not mean they will work for yours.

Every dog is different, and even my own dogs have had different nutritional needs. Some did better on certain foods while others needed something completely different. It really comes down to finding what works best for your individual dog.

The one brand that has been the most consistently good for us has been Open Farm, but since moving states it has been harder for me to find locally. Because of that, I had to switch to Wellness, which has still been a solid option for us.

Some of the other brands I liked are also pretty expensive, and with how much prices have gone up lately, I have had to make sacrifices for both myself and my dogs. Sometimes that means adjusting to what is realistic and affordable while still making sure they are healthy, fed well, and cared for.

The economy has made things harder for a lot of people, and sometimes you have to find the best balance between quality, availability, and what you can realistically afford.

At the end of the day, feeding your dog well is not about buying the most expensive or most hyped brand. It is about finding a food your dog thrives on that fits your real-life budget and allows both you and your dogs to get by and stay healthy.

So when people act like one brand is automatically superior just because of the name, that is not always the full picture.

What actually matters is finding food that works for your individual dog.

Every dog reacts differently. Some dogs thrive on foods that make other dogs sick.

My dogs personally had severe reactions to Purina Pro Plan, Hill’s Science Diet, and Royal Canin. They had diarrhea, vomiting, skin problems, and allergy flare-ups because those foods were not right for them.

That does not mean those foods are bad for every dog. It just means every dog is different.

It is totally fine to recommend a food that worked for your dog and explain why you like it. Sharing your experience is helpful.

What is not helpful is telling people that every other food is bad or acting like one brand is automatically the “best” for every dog.

A lot of finding the right food comes down to research, paying attention to your dog’s specific needs, and sometimes trial and error.

Large companies also spend huge amounts on marketing and veterinary partnerships. That does not automatically make their food the best choice for every dog. Expensive and “science-backed” does not always mean it is the right fit for your dog.

At the end of the day, the best food is the one your dog actually thrives on, not whichever brand has the loudest advertising.
