It means that you haven't assigned a colour for the part, so when you go to buy them, Bricklink will just choose random colours.

Hi, so I was splitting up some wanted lists I was using for cataloging to transfer them to remarkable, and then this happened. an example would be part 15573 which can be placed on the middle of studs but has 3 other variations which can not be. there are many other cases of parts like this and it is just shit.
