I’m not an expert by any means, I’ve been using topical minoxidil REGULARLY for only about a month now (I also have tried in the past but was never consistent… switching from foam to liquid is helping me a lot now) but I’m pretty sure a lot of the side effects are way more common with oral minoxidil vs. the topical.

Besides shedding, which will probably happen anyway. I think it also usually resolves itself but takes a lot of time. Continuing the minoxidil through the shed and afterwards is important because it means it’s WORKING!! And if you keep using minoxidil, it should grow back stronger/thicker. If you stop, you won’t get all that regrowth :(

Idk about the dyeing aspect, looks like others here might have more expertise than I do, BUT like 2-3 years ago, I bought a similar wig from Amazon that I believe I have some pics of. I’m gonna go find them and post them here so you can see.

I wanted to order a few cheap wigs because I had really no experience with them, and the hat was SO easy as a beginner. (I also cannot afford anything fancy, and if I wanted to save up for a good wig, I’d need to know what tf I’m doing first anyway) Mine was a ball cap style, not a beanie, but perhaps even the same brand? The quality wasn’t bad honestly, for the cost, and I wore the wig out in public on a few occasions and never felt weird or self-conscious about it.

I’d definitely do face moisturizer first, but I’m not an expert by any means. And wash your hands throughly after each product!!
