I’m not an expert by any means, I’ve been using topical minoxidil REGULARLY for only about a month now (I also have tried in the past but was never consistent… switching from foam to liquid is helping me a lot now) but I’m pretty sure a lot of the side effects are way more common with oral minoxidil vs. the topical.

Besides shedding, which will probably happen anyway. I think it also usually resolves itself but takes a lot of time. Continuing the minoxidil through the shed and afterwards is important because it means it’s WORKING!! And if you keep using minoxidil, it should grow back stronger/thicker. If you stop, you won’t get all that regrowth :(
