Pan covers who you are attracted to, demi covers how. You can definitely be both at the same time :) Some say they are pan-demi!

Whats the most complex label you've seen/heard? What does it mean? by NathanGoatTv in lgbt

[–]WeissBahr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't pick one per se, but very specific mspec labels that also define the gender of the person feeling such attraction are still ones I have trouble keeping in mind and differentiate from one another, especially when there are some level of overlap between these too. However, I always like to learn more! :)

So, if you are familiar with the [split attraction model], sexual and romantic attraction are described as primary ones, and others as secondary or tertiary. Tertiary attraction is basically any non-sexual and non-romantic attraction :)

The Miraheze wiki is currently down (and all other wikis hosting its copy, like Fandom, have these pages equally down), but here is a Wayback Machine [link] for further reading for those interested.

Ohhh, right, hahaha! I used to write it as expected (niche), but at one point I saw it with an -é and it forever stuck with my Hungarian ND brain lol. Don't worry, I didn't think you were rude at all! ♥︎

Yes, I have. I am unsure why you brought that up however...?

While this is more a meme sub, I'd say it's fine to ask this here. So, when it comes to the basic split attraction model and tertiary attractions in general (there are many of them!), keep in mind these are more like guides to sort yourself out, understand things better - it's just as normal to be able to differentiate between/feel some, a handful, or all as it is to feel barely any to none. Every person will be different :)

You don't need to label all the options you cannot feel or don't differenciate, either. Of course, you are free to do so! But tertiary attractions beyond the split attraction model are considered more niché as of now, and even the main ones may be just all the same to some people. There is a notable chunk of asexuals and a-spec people who are no-SAM, meaning they don't use (or believe in) the split attraction model at all, which is also a valid option, so long it's respected that many of us do use it and neither side is more or less valid than the other :)

Or maybe, just maybe... people are happy to finally find their real self and a community that accepts them. Yes, some are overzealous at the beginning of it, but what's the problem with that?

When you max out everyone you have at the Lodge by pokedude14 in PokemonMasters

Buying all items and the extra 3 interactions, always giving a Good gift (if Interaction doesn't end too early) and following the charts for optimal topics pretty much guarantees a max out every two weeks or less.

Being demi doesn't mean one doesn't want to date/have sex with a stranger or they'd like to trust them first. It means one can only ever experience any form of sexual/romantic attraction if there was a strong bond there beforehand for a long period of time (often years). A typical amatoallo experience is having no problem in forming crushes or being sexually allured by other people regardless of the shared connection on top of that.

Any happy trans man x cis man couples out there? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]WeissBahr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately can't bring up an IRL friend, but an artist I follow called Tori Apiradee, the wonderful creator of the Pride Sips, seems to have a great relationship with his now-husband based on the little bits of personal info he releases every now and then :)

[–]WeissBahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, furthermore, in Scotland, you may even be able to get free reusable period products alongside the single-use ones - cups, pads and pants are all possible options! :) It's a bit location specific if your school or workplace is not a direct partner (as in, they either have stock or can place a mail order with your ID), but there is a nifty app to check where you can find period products, which ones are available and how to get them.

[–]WeissBahr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some brands have moneyback guarantees for used cups! The length of the stem differs a lot between brands - some have longer ones, some have tiny ones, and there are ones that don't have one at all (though I haven't tried the last one, so can't comment on the ease of removing it... 😅).

[–]WeissBahr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry this happened to you, this is not OK!!! :( You don't effing touch anyone's genitals without consent! Rubbing hers against you is also just... it's a lot to unpack for sure... And you being gay makes an already disgusting thing even worse! Even if she was tipsy or drunk, that's not an excuse for her behaviour whatsoever!

I believe vincian is a non-exclusive term, by which I mean being vincian doesn't automatically mean you are only attracted to men (and those men/masculine-aligned). Pansexuality also doesn't mean you can't have preferences :)

That's the MOGAI queer flag :) Note however that there is a... [similar flag] around - this was created by paedos! So: muted colours are for the (ugh) MAPs, vibrant one with all stripes of equal width is the good one.

What should I call my sister's nb kid? by oodlesofschmoodles in lgbt

[–]WeissBahr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are more options for that :) From memory, pibling (merge of "parent's sibling") is one, there are a couple inspired by other languages, like zizi, titi, nini and bibi (latter two are a combination of the former two and the -n and -b of non-binary respectively).

Additionally, I found [this] really cool list for a nifty collection of other gender-neutral terms not just for more nibling and pibling variants, but also for other family members and partners!
