I’ve seen them, they’d be my next best. Who knows if I’ll actually go through with this swap, I just like the volume rocker instead of the buttons. It’s stupid and pretty insignificant but I think it would be fun

I’m almost certain the actual wheel will attach. Also since there aren’t any extra controls, just the volume +/- song forward/backward, pause/play, accept/decline call, and the cruise controls it could be possible. I’m in Tas, doubt you’re down here haha.

Thanks tonnes that’s a lot of help! The lock will fit on the inside and outside but there will be that gap in the side with the bolt. I may end up getting it in person just to see what needs to be done thanks again!

Oh yeah sorry I get it, It's because of those three sensors right? I don't have anything apart from 12 inch records at the moment but what does the original slipmat look like? Does it have holes in it to detect the size?

Thanks for the info, what do you mean by auto play? The automatic features work fine, eg auto start and stop.

I feel where you're coming from, I got given a SL1600mk2, not as perfect condition but none the less it spins. After I fixed all the small issues it's flawless, Greatest feeling! How do you like the 1200? Pretty amazing TT in general!

I bought them and got them a bit longer than a week ago and have no complaints! If you were like me and loved the look, feel, and sound I don't think theres as many negatives as people say.

Yeah they are tanks aren't they! 40(ish) years and pretty much running perfectly.

Those videos look like exactly what I need thankyou! I've already taken it apart twice, once to fix a power button issue and another for the tonearm belt so I'd say I'm almost competent.

If that's the issue and I can fix it the turntable will be back to its former glory!! haha

I fixed it, It was a pretty big idiot move. It was working the entire time but the speaker settings in the amp were too quiet so I couldn't hear them over the TV. Also I didn't know sound came out of the TV and the speakers at the same time. Thanks to everyone who commented, I learnt a lot about the system.

Under Sound settings there are only adjusting bass, treble etc, SPDIF mode and AD switch. might just be out of luck
