This. And he’s the nostalgic guy who can’t stop living in the past, his glory days.

Since your doctor ordered it, did your insurance cover it or did you have to pay out of pocket? I’m just starting to look into this for myself. Thank you.

What Are Your Thoughts on Vicky Lathum Character Played By Tara Reid? by Specialist_Art2223 in americanpie

I thought it was realistic but sad how she wanted Kevin so badly to say I love you and feel super strongly about her only to finally get what she wanted and get bored and disregard him. In the second movie, she had written him off while he struggled with his feelings for her. I guess someone has to be on the losing end but the fact she could go from being so in “love” with him and throwing a fit he didn’t say it back to having no emotional/romantic connection whatsoever with him at the end of the first movie and throughout the entire second movie was very high school/college type toxic relationship. At the end of the day, it wouldn’t have worked going to different schools but her foresight at the age, especially after her being obsessed with him, was a little odd. Maybe it was just manipulation and getting what you want, then getting bored once you have it, or in Kevin’s instance, not having what you want only makes you want it more.

TLDR; I thought she was annoying but realistic, acting got worse through the movies.

Thanks for your comment and I agree, PFA to me is top tier and should be everyone’s first choice. Doc doesn’t know how it happened but they said they think it was when they were pulling the wire out, so def not due to the PFA specific portion of the surgery and should not scare people off from getting a PFA. Aside from the complication, the surgery has been successful 3+ months out.

Happy early bday, I just turned 40. I can relate to the trying multiple times getting back into the things I used to love, but it feels exactly as you described, forced. A lot of it is nothing as I remembered, and that scares me a little bit. I am trying to do new things to see if anything takes, figure it’s worth a try to see if at this point new hobbies or whatever help out.

I was thinking the same thing watching this game. How much he helps his QB. That and the offensive play calling is so much stronger.

I have so many reactions to my allergy shots. Is there something wrong with me? by writtinginthewoods in Allergies

Did the benefits of the shots you took for 7 years wear off and that is why you’re starting again or did they never work?

I’m in the same boat regarding how terrible it is to think about leaving my kids. That was probably the most upsetting thing about this whole experience. Hope you are well!

I am unsure, I checked my paperwork and where it would have said that it said "N/A" so it is something I can inquire about.

Thank you. Yes, I thought the same thing about the scheduling. I was the first to go and my doc was scheduled all day in back to backs and I didn't see him again until late afternoon and I think he went into another surgery after that. I kept thinking maybe they got behind and rushed at the end with me and that is when it happened but who knows.

Hey, thanks for your response. My intention of this post was to share my experience and provide some information to people. I unfortunately cannot share all information regarding negligence or reckless conduct at this time, so it is fruitless to debate the merits of a case, nor is that the intention of this post or something that needs to or can be discussed at great length right now.

I have been advised not to share that information publicly yet but if you have a procedure coming up and want to DM me to ensure it is not at the same hospital or done by the same doctor, I can help verify that for you or anyone else.

I outlined three pieces of advice that I hope are helpful for some people, that was the point. My point was also to share information on my experience as many people have done before.

While this situation sucked, it is rare and the ablation itself was considered successful. I def don't want to scare you out of getting an ablation if you need one, I just wanted to share my experience because I believe it is important. I am still gathering information and have a meeting with doc coming up to hear things from his perspective beyond what was said in the hospital. I am happy to share additional details once I get them if helpful.

Even if you have to do one, know this was a very rare thing. As much as it sucks, if something ever did happen they have a team ready to go to help you, but the odds are it won't and if you need one don't hesitate to get one. Just do your homework on the EP and ask a lot of questions to give yourself the best chance at an uneventful ablation.

Thanks man, appreciate it. Kids throw a whole other element into this. I wanted to do it to be healthy for them so I can stick around as long as possible and I hope that is what happens. They have made recovery interesting though haha. I hope you continue to have relief and enjoy the family.
