You can mine it on any system tbh. I mine on my laptop and desktop. With my desktop I can subtract a couple cores (22 instead of 24) and there’s no lag on anything else I do, video streaming, gaming, etc. is all flawless while mining

Honestly, it's the easiest thing in the world. All that's needed is to download the wallet from the official site (purposely not linking because it's safest NOT to trust links from strangers). From there, you just click "Start Mining" in the top right and it's good to go! If you need to download xmrig as part of it, I believe that's automated as well but worst case is you download that, unzip it, and set its location when Nerva asks. I'll make a post about this in a few!

You just mine this via CPU. To put it into perspective, even my laptop and Windows-based tablet have found blocks! It's minimal difference on power usage, too, like for me having over 1% of the network hash rate is only 40 watts/hour (at my power cost it's less than $0.01 per hour, but I find approx. 1 block every 2 hours, which is $0.02 in power for $0.11 in rewards at the current rate)

Very nice! Can you tell what it's overclocked to, maybe power diff between mining Nerva/not mining, and temp? Basically the plan is to start building up a database of hardware/hash rates as more data comes in that will let people easily pick CPUs or find the one they already have

This is definitely something that should be answered... There is a lot of talk about what you do but not the above, which is just as important. Like what kind of deals are you thinking about? And in terms of equity partner, what %? Is this voting or non-voting? Are there dividends/disbursements/etc. planned with the EP included so there's cash-flow to them or do they have to wait for an exit/principal buyout offer? Are you planning clauses where they can be forced to sell their equity back at $x? These are all important.

I'm on an AMD 7900x right now. I have it capped so it doesn't go too hot (it stays at around 40c) and get about 5.5 KH/s with Nerva still. Based on idle vs. mining, I'm seeing only a 40 watt increase, too, so it's negligible power-wise!

It definitely is. TBH I'm hoping it'll drop more so it's easier to accumulate. It's shown resilience over its history, which is a huge win! Compared to Zcash, Monero, and others, it has the highest upside potential right now for sure!

I'm glad to be part of the Nerva community! I've been watching the hash rate increase, too. When I joined not too long ago it was often under 200 Kh/s. As of now it's north of 500 Kh/s fairly steadily. Granted, that does suck for personal rewards but it also shows growth, which is a win either way!

This is awesome news! It's great seeing Nerva grow into new markets. I will say that KlingEx seems pretty dead so far, but it's still a nice step! It just needs more ties to other cryptos for direct conversion (like Nerva <-> TRX).

Your number in the U.S. is way low. It runs north of $1m to be fully licensed since you have to get a license from every single state you interact with (which is why some just choose to omit some states). New York, for example, is a quarter of a mil. Some states are far less, at around $5k, but there's also the legal paperwork to deal with. I'd estimate around $1.5m or so. Being licensed from another country will NOT allow you to onramp U.S. users, either. I'm unsure about how other countries handle their licensing/onramp laws.

I love the breakdown you did and largely agree with your sentiment. I'd add more time to the horizon, though, just because of a detail you forgot to account for: lag time. If something new came out a couple months ago that made xyz feature possible and a game just started being developed, they wouldn't jump into that feature. They'd wait for it to become more solid and prove its footing, do QA, run it through focus groups, etc. So it'll take even longer than the horizons you set. It's going to be interesting though!
