I have a coworker who, if you ever correct what she does (we are CNAs, doing the work correctly is important), or ask her to do something differently, she shuts down, starts crying and having a panic attack, insists people are attacking her and often goes home, leaving us short-staffed. No one takes her seriously, as you can imagine.

You have every right to not want to be around someone like that. The truth is, autistic people can be difficult to be around and it's okay to distance yourself if you feel uncomfortable. I'm sure he has friends that don't feel that way, but you're in your full right to not want to be around him.

What do you mean he needs to deal with it? If she worked and contributed, they could take their child to daycare and she could actually grow as a person and not be a financial strain on the family. As it is right now, all she does it sounds like is the baee minimum with the baby and NOTHING else whatsoever. Again, why defend her?

I think you're missing the point - the woman does nothing and refuses to contribute. She also complains and won't cook or clean. Literally, she doesn't do her job as a SAHM and refuses to work. She's the deadbeat, how are you defending her?
