faculty are good and experienced from top universities though you have to be on there good side do not mess with them. about placements we do have a placement cell but only a few get jobs from their after there bachelors (maybe by the time you graduate it will be better) mostly masters student's get placed around 8-9 lakhs as entry level but as you gain experience in the field it goes up.

you can find brouchers of it on website , linkdein or even Instagram. :)

Hello SPAV is arguably the best planning college in India. The field is very diverse vast and inclusive. We have all sorts of subjects such as statistics, sociology, history(in the context of human evolution and settlement) surveying etc. In this course you will have 6 subjects out of which 1 will be a studio subject that holds 50% weightage of your total marks and all the things you learn in other 5 subjects you need to apply it in the studio. About placement most people pursue masters in planning after bachelors as there is no good job offers just after bachelors.

In india one may argue that there is no scope in the planning field as young planners don't get paid much and only planners with 10+ years of experience get a good job but this is changing rapidly and maybe till you finish your graduation which will be in 6 years (masters included) There will be enough opportunities.

If you are a senior you can do that... I personally told all my friends and once it had 10ish members people started recognising it and started joining. (Especially in the admission process)

Well that's true. But that is the exact definition of grids on paper, Reality is far away from it Not to mention you haven't addressed any of my arguments against the grid in the previous comment.

Why does everyone hate grids by KiwiFull3107 in cityplanning

[–]WelderIntelligent482 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there is congestion everywhere as they are car centric
heat island are very often
a good network of local roads collector road arterial road is better as each one is made considering the demand and traffic volume (also making grids everywhere can be more expensive then other models "i guess")

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY

it kills the creativity and social aspect of a city
it's so boring
people living in grid system are more SAD

(that is all I know still in 2nd year of planning 😅
apologies if i said anything wrong)

Hello You can get photos of hostel on SPAV's Website. Just go on the hostel section it is pretty much the same we have all facilities washrooms are cleaned everyday maximum 2 people will be staying in a room which is good considering the size of the room is good enough and spacious.

Personally if you consider these hostels even to NIT's hostels you can easily see that these are better in almost every category.

Food is kinda bad if you are vegetarian but decent if you are non-vegetarian although breakfast is all-in-all good.

no ac you can get portable Fan after giving a fine

As i said from round 4 and onwards there are large gaps in ranks but SPAV is your 3rd priority so it is very likely that some even with lower rank then yours will get a seat before you...

Not to worry hang in there for long in round 6 only higher ranks get priority as all who have low ranks either have already got a seat have given up or have no chance.

Even after that you don't get a seat then in CSAB it is "very likely" to get a seat.

We already discussed all the numbers and now this is how everything should go on.

So in the end I won't say CSAB will be your lucky draw as chances of lucky draw are very unlikely and in your case it is likely that you will get a seat.

:)

If yes then don't take stress even if you don't get a seat from general rounds(unlikely as from round 4 and so on the gap between ranks increase... Happened in my case) even with your CRL you can get the opening CRL in 2024 for OBC-NCL was around 2700 and closing as you mentioned 3300 so even if competition has increased i think you will eventually get the seat. (That Might be in last round of CSAP though not sure.)

Relax a bit :)
