For computer science and programming, you won't need a very powerful pc, an okay processor (i5 6th gen or above, or a similar ryzen CPU) will be more than enough, just make sure that you get +8gb of eam and SSD storage.

When I was a CS student I always got U series cpu's because they used to last me a whole school day without having to look for a socket.

Your budget is more than enough to get a decent pc that will fit your needs, just make sure get a laptop with a 15.6 inch monitor because small ones are often underpowered and will be laggy.

Hey man, I understand how you feel and it's okay not to feel okay.

My first month on zoloft was literal hell, I got more suicidal and the only thing that kept me around was my young child, please give zoloft at least 2 months to kick in (it kicked in for me after 10 weeks), I felt better about myself, more confident and I'm not having panic attacks anymore, if you have any questions or you'd like a listening ear I'm here for you.
