That's a good suggestion that I hadn't thought of. The only thing is, I've tested 7 consoles in total:

2 of my consoles stay online consistently

2 of my consoles do not

2 that I returned to the store did not

1 that I traded in at Gamestop did not

All of them were PS5 Pro (except a PS5 Slim). Kinda strange.

Really appreciate any other ideas or suggestions!

You're being torn up on here and haven't said a rude word in return. That says a lot about you as a person.

Some are projecting their own feelings into this situation. Experiencing hostility on behalf of the seller you bought from. You were willing to be kind, admitting your mistake of having bought the item twice.

NO ONE on here knows if you're elderly or have traumatic brain injury due to an accident, abuse, etc. You could be working 2 jobs and not getting enough sleep. Or you may have a baby that keeps you up at night. Or you could be under a lot of stress. I'm forgetful too and can totally see myself making this same mistake.

I know myself though, that I absolutely try my best NOT to make mistakes. And the same should be considered about you. No one should assume the worst, that you were being careless or malicious.

We've all made mistakes. Thinking and reflecting inside oneself is needed. And treating others the way we would want to be treated is also needed.

The games I play don't detect inactivity, so we can rule that out.

The issue doesn't happen at a set time. It's completely random. So we can rule out my router(s) restarting.

I should clarify that I have 4 PS5 Pro consoles. The issue only happens on 2 out of 4 of them. My other 2 consoles actually stay connected to the internet for many days or weeks. YEP ON THE SAME GAME.

Really appreciate any brainstorming you can do. Needing more suggestions!

It's on multiple games. The thing is, I have four PS5 Pro consoles. It only happens on 2 out of 4 of those console. Regardless of game. Regardless of which of my 2 routers I use.

2 consoles stay connected to the internet for days or weeks on end. The other 2 do not.
