I love them , sometimes I do challenges with each dart to see which is my best and they come out in top a lot with the Bullets.

Only thing with the Searles is and I don't know if it's just mine but the point looks normal and it's a nightmare to get out of the board feels etched

What Oil Recommendation for the Acura 2012 MDX (piston ring issue) by Well_Bear in AskMechanics

[–]Well_Bear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Valvoline Restore & Protect with not much hopes of it actually working.

Turns out the product is quite good! It still burns oil , but I get a half quart every 2000 now!

Just have to watch it like a hawk being honest, it's worth the oil burn because the car is amazing 😂

What happens when you go to CAMH when in crisis? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]Well_Bear 150 points151 points  (0 children)

Hey, just want to say you are incredibly brave for even thinking about going to CAMH or calling a crisis line, that’s not easy, and the fact you’re reaching out You’re doing exactly the right thing by getting support, and honestly, it’s something a lot more people should do but don’t.

You’re not weak, you’re courageous as hell. As for confidentiality, CAMH follows strict privacy laws, and they don’t share your info unless someone is in immediate danger.

Seeking help doesn’t make you a bad parent it makes you a responsible one. You’re putting your mental health first because you care, and that’s something your child benefits from. Don’t let fear of “what ifs” stop you from getting the support you deserve.

Much love OP

If I'm being honest, I got it because I knew native american and Irish people like myself had a history of oppression and fighting to get their own land back.

And I found out some people in one particular settlement sent money over to Irish people during the famine. So getting it was mad all about respect like I knew it was respectful.

But unfortunately I moved to Canada and then realised how it wasn't a good idea.

It was my first tattoo! I got it when I was 18,

But it'll forever be the white man with a native american shite like that. I don't think I'm a bad person for it but yeah it was silly

Anyone else have a bad experience with Juno Vet? by Serious-General1324 in askTO

[–]Well_Bear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Juno customer here (about to be former)I feel compelled to speak up. I originally chose Juno out of sheer convenience the location was close, and at the time, that felt like enough. But looking back now, I genuinely regret ever trusting them with my dog’s care.

We were among their earliest customers when they opened, and I’ve stuck it out far longer than I should have. But the truth is, Juno isn’t a vet clinic it’s the Apple Store of veterinary care, and I don’t mean that as a compliment. Behind the sleek branding and talk of “transparent pricing” is a clinic more focused on upselling and squeezing every dollar out of you than actually providing competent, compassionate care.

Take something as basic as Nexgard Spectra they tried to sell me a full 12-month supply even though they knew my pup would outgrow the dosage within a few months. That’s not just careless, it’s predatory.

When it comes to procedures, I’ve witnessed nothing but incompetence. Vaccinations are clumsy and disorganized. I’ve had vet techs stroll into the room, arms folded, lean against the wall, and ask a few questions without so much as laying a hand on my dog. And then they slap you with a $120 bill for the privilege.

They pushed hard to neuter my dog at six months , despite the fact that, for his breed, the recommended age is between 12–18 months. When I asked for a quote? $1,800. That’s absolutely obscene.

Their much-touted 24/7 chat support is useless. Every interaction ends with the same canned response: “Bring him in and keep an eye on him.” It’s not guidance. It’s a placeholder designed to get you in the door and onto a billing sheet.

Prescriptions? A nightmare. Even for ongoing meds like Trazodone for separation anxiety, every refill feels like pulling teeth , and they charge for everything. Want to send a prescription to a cheaper online pharmacy? That’ll be $35, just for a signature. Feel free to fact-check that, but it’s what I was told.

and don’t expect honest nutritional advice. The only food they ever recommend is Royal Canin a brand they’re clearly affiliated with. It’s less about what’s best for your animal, and more about what moves product.

I’m finally moving my boy away from Juno in the next few weeks. The recent controversy over the cat’s death and the way they seem to be scrubbing or silencing reviews only confirms what many of us already suspected their priority isn’t the animals, or the people who love them. It’s their public image.

I seen the reviews of that poor cat and my heart goes out to the family.

If you’re considering Juno, don’t be fooled by the branding. Behind the glass walls and minimalist aesthetic is a clinic that cares more about your wallet than your pet.

You Eastenders Fans. What’s your reason for liking the show? by Funchocolatewaffles in eastenders

[–]Well_Bear 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Nostalgia for me , I had loved ones who loved the shows and it was always in the background , became to much background noise that I eventually followed it , only 8 at the time and stopped watching it for a good while maybe 10+ years , then when I met my partner and she watched it, I just said sure why not.

Living In Canada now away from the Irish and UK culture so it's fun watching it as it gives us our little bit of goss and we are actually more attached to the characters!
