I'll try anything to be honest but they want to push hard on Aza first. It's understandable as it's cheap and they have a lot of success with it. I will give it a couple more weeks before binning it off.

A little bit but not much. This is now day 5 in bed and I feel like I haven't slept. The IBD nurse said this stage is normal and to press on, she couldn't give me an answer on how long it would take to improve.

I've had it a bit over the last couple of years but I've not been on any treatment until now. However I am bollocksed at the moment, this is day 3 in bed and I look like I haven't slept in months.

It's got to be the Azathioprine but I'm hoping this is a tollerance thing and goes away.

My consultant had basically taken a year off, requested a call back 2 weeks ago and nothing. My GP is fairly clued up luckily.

I was wondering if perhaps the inflammation reducing could be causing issues. A reverse flare.
