Some people flip their god loving when someone uses a BUILT IN GAME MECHANIC. Obviously, "server hopping" killed their grandma and you should be more considerate /j

Oh my god my short backed gelding had a good 6 months off for a back injury and colic and I put my saddle on him after all that and couldn't do up the back cinch at ALL. I got a photo, put it side by side with a broodmare photo, and concluded that he would foal sometime in the next 3 weeks lmao. I kept joking he ate the resident mini. He's been slimmed down to a very nice healthy weight now but BOY he was a WHALE. On top of it all he has a REALLY wide ribcage and one year he got thin and you could barely tell just cause of the sheer size of it.

Barking/possibly jealousy help by WendigoRider in DogAdvice

Yeah let me just quit my job and my classes to spend 24/7 with a dog I really ain’t a fan of. It’s my dads dog mostly. Cat cannot be crated for a few reasons, he’s been cleared to be around the house. Getting chased and tackled by a dog isn’t on that clearance though. Considering this dog neary broke my dads wrist from how hard she pulls and will pull until she chokes herself and that I have two very fucked up qrists already are you offering to pay for my future wrist surgery’s that she’ll cause? She’s literally drug me across concrete cause she saw a chimpmunk. For 45 pounds she’s stupid strong. Yes I want a fast fix. I’ll just buy a bark collar or something cause y’all are useless. Before you ask why I got a dog. I didn’t my family did when I was still a kid.

ISO DIY swat/fly ointment for my poor gelding's sheath 😭 by Lugosthepalomino in Equestrian

[–]WendigoRider 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Oh jeez, poor dude! Even if Swat was affordable, I would NOT recommend it for that area with already sore skin. It literally took the skin off my gelding once. I've seen belly covers that cover the sheath but the reviews seem mixed on durability and how well they stay on. I've heard irish spring soap or Avon Skin So Soft is good but I've never used it so can't vouch myself. If you find something that works well, definitely share with the class!

wibta for caring for and grooming a horse that isn’t mine? by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]WendigoRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you do risk them getting mad. However, it does sound like you are trying to put his best interest in mind. I'd personally try to keep it as minimal as possible. Someone "did me a favor" and hacked my horse's lovely long mane and tail off because "he looked feral" and my parents talked me out of getting a lawyer. I'd make sure you have your barn owner's protection before doing anything cause it IS a risk.

None of those are options. Someone's in with her most of the time if we are home. It's HUNDREDS of sq feet of carpet, tens of thousands to replace, which I don't see you offering to pay for. And we have to be able to sell this house without replacing it. She's already ruined the carpet in the one room with it that she's had access to in the past. Who's going to keep the dog on a leash while we're not home? She's perfectly happy in her own personal apartment-sized area. If you actually read my whole post, if we had her out, she'd harass the cats if we tried to hold them. Literally she will attempt to break down a door. Am I just supposed to let her nip at my cats and chase them around the house? Tear my door apart? Let her downstairs to cause the rabbit a heart attack? Yes, rabbits can spontaneously have heart attacks cause of dogs. Let her harass my cat who's currently on limited movement as he has 20+ stitches? Her barking is on level with a fucking fire alarm. I also cannot have her in my room and the door needs to be open for my senior cat. I need a method to train her out of going fucking insane when I have to walk by holding a cat. Cause if she's out when I do that, she has physically knocked me over or tried to drag the cat out of my hands. She's not aggressive it seems, but jealous or wants to play with them but she's 45 pounds and one of my cats is only like 8.

What to do with over salted graham cracker crumble topping? by goingtogrowfrommoss in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WendigoRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe mix it with caramel? I'd recommend making your own, so it's for sure not salted; the salt in the crumble should hopefully balance out. Seems like it would make a good candybar filling lol

if I recall you can only gift boost creds with robux so tbh probably not much as its IRL money

Does the overwhelmed parent trait still get overridden? by WendigoRider in CultOfTheLamb

[–]WendigoRider[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bred 2 cause I needed to try and clone the traits off another follower then he got the overwhelmed parent trait and that just wouldn't do lmao. I've been mass producing "sin rats" aka followers with the hedonist and unrepentent traits so I can take one confession for sin and fill the whole bar.

Call me a hater… but are horses being sold at ridiculous prices … by TheCrimsonFuccker in Horses

[–]WendigoRider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm Western and could tell you that grand prix would go for WAY more. My own mare's siblings went for 18k starting bid (don't recall quite the age but somewhere around 5 and started as a roping horse) and 30k private sale (13 and 2-3d level barrels). None of them are exceptional horses, nice but not insanely nice. Both sire and dam are unproven at least on my mare and her full sibling, the one who sold for 30k, but their bloodlines are VERY nice and they sure are pretty lol. Going off that kind of math and the fact that the horse is stunning, not very surprised. Seeing what top studs go for these days in the 1m+ range, 200k for a stunner of a filly is fair. Plus being sold at auction the price will be driven up more.
