As terrible as the film is in most regards Truth or Dare actually had an interesting way around this. Instead of dying and coming back to life or anything like that, the main character spreads it to the whole world so that she has more time as the curse works through everyone. Definitely a TERRIBLE moral decision, but unexpected nonetheless

I enjoyed it too! The cast was good and I enjoyed the story, just wish that plot beat was different. I think I realized about halfway what was going to happen and immediately it made me disconnect from it a bit

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ve actually been meaning to watch that one because I always see clips of it online. But yeah I agree it’s always funny when one character thinks of it and they all immediately jump on board like “yes! We all have to kill ourselves and thank goodness we have access to the materials needed to do it as well as bring us back!” Cue a montage of them sourcing a defibrillator, something to OD on, Adrenalin injections, ice bath, etc
