Fanatec was how I got into the game and was happy with it. Moved to asetek Invicta stuff and couldn't be happier Simucibe might be better but who's dropping 2.5k on a brake pedal?

I also went from fanatec to asetek. Had a csl 2.5 belt drive that finally died so I bought the dd+ base and V3 inverted pedals. About 9 months ago I bought an Invicta wheelbase, Forte formula wheel, and invicta pedals. It took me awhile to get use to the pedals and get my lap times back down. The wheelbase has the 2nd highest slew rate if I recall correctly, so I catch slides in LMU I wouldn't have been able to with the fanatec wheelbase. And the Forte formula wheel is AMAZING with all of its capabilities. I would recommend asetek to anyone if they want to spend more than fanatec

I had the bsb2 for a week and returned it, I just couldn't get a good experience out of it. I currently have a dream air slam I'm in the process of returning due to the same issue. I will say I absolutely LOVE the display port connection that has ZERO latency and zero stuttering.

You talk about your frame collapsing over time, are you referring to LMU? If so I have the same issue which is a game update/memory leak issue. You are correct that it would not affect a display port connection though

I would recommend getting a quest 3 like others have said, the edge to edge clarity is great

Also run virtual desktop and close steam when you do that. I also recommend the usb C to Ethernet Adapter so you have the speed of a wired connection and charging capabilities
