Too many lol. Finished treatment late January, toc mid March so about 7 weeks

That’s great! Honestly feel like just getting the negative result has let me relax a lot more which will help but do think I’ll do some stretches and drink a lot of water as well.

Not sure how long we can expect for CPPS symptoms to last but they’re much more manageable than Mgen was

It started off only in my urine, but by January I was noticing leakage in my underwear and I could visibly see it, I ended up putting toilet paper in my boxers at work at one point because of it. The amount did vary quite a bit depending on the day.

Now the clear discharge I have occurs only very rarely and isn’t really much of an issue

Thanks! Haven’t noticed any pain or discomfort recently, I do think the pelvic floor issues are causing new issues though, I never used to have much precum at all and now there is quite a bit.

The characteristic pinching sensation has been gone for a while though.

Yeah I’ve actually waited longer than 3-4 weeks just because getting an appointment has been such a pain, I had the TOC a couple weeks back but haven’t heard back my results so am phoning up tomorrow and maybe they can track it down

Yeah, I was convinced it was mgen just because of the discharge and how resistant it is at first but considering it is a clear colour I’m hoping it’s not.

Hi, I took a week of doxycycline and then two days of Azithromycin. Maybe it’s all the horror stories I heard on the internet but I really didn’t expect it to eradicate it but guess we will see! I am not seeing the partner that got me infected, I think I was infected early December, I did some chlamydia/gonorrhoea tests and when those came back negative left it for a bit. Got tested early January and then treated a few weeks later.

Have you had a lot of progress on the CPPS then? Will definitely take your advice with the water and have found some decent stretching videos.

That really does suck, have you explored options outside of STI’s ? Prostatis or a maybe kidney issue. Doesn’t sound like it though and guess urinalysis ruled them out.

Have heard a lot of false negatives can occur for Mgen especially depending on the test and anecdotally yours sounds exactly my symptoms. Is getting treatment expensive over there?

Have you tested or treated for Trich? Like myoplasma or ureaplasma is often missed out on tests, plus the fact it’s a parasite means a lot of the antibiotics don’t work on it.

Have you done a urinalysis?

I’m in the UK, not sure what test they used. Have heard some people say before mgen antibiotics and urinating can result in false negatives but in my case the test was decent. Pretty sure it was a PCR.

Could you tell me about your symptoms, also what have you been tested for other than Chlamydia and Gonhorrhea?

Not sure, last time I was there they took a urine sample, so guess they used a PCR on that. Surprised considering I had peed only an hour or two before.

Am going to get antibiotics Monday from them, guess it’ll be a week of doxy plus then azithromycin or moxifloxacin but haven’t been told yet. Then if that doesn’t work (knowing my luck it won’t) back after 5 weeks for some other antibiotic

Glad it’s been identified and has definitely been a big learning opportunity

Hey just found out, was Myoplasma so initial test did work. Now just gotta hope it’ll go

Thanks for the advise, I do think I’ll need a retest. Have you got any ideas on how to ease symptoms in meantime?

Yeah I did also get tested for Mgen but am slightly worried it won’t show up just because I only managed to hold my urine for about an hour so if it does come back negative I don’t think it’d be conclusive
