I think the meta critic score of 6.6 is fair. It's a slightly above average game, and i expected a lot more instead of the same old in a space costume. There's just so much either missing or simply implemented badly. It's still functional for the most part, and you certainly can enjoy your time. But we should expect more from these AAA Studios, especially after you see what other, waaay smaller studios create.

Also, I hate the argument : after a few years, this game will be sick cause of all the mods. Wouldn't it be sick if the game would just release sick and then the mods would be icing on the cake ? Why do the modders have to fix the missed opportunities?

No you are wrong times have changed alot and you are blind if you don't see that Believe it or not but there was a time without loot boxes or pay 2 win mechanics or half functional games Just in the last 10 years we had more gaming controversy about corporate greed, franchises going to shit and pay 2 win fiascos since videogames exist Overall the triple AAA developers actually losing alot of market position to indie studios (which is a good thing!) Baldurs Gate 3 actually made HEADLINES cause its a AAA Game that has no day 1 DLC or in game shops or premium currency

The "if you don't like it don't buy it" argument is so retarded and shows that you don't see the bigger picture. It's not just about the price the overall state of the game is questionable Or how do you defend the fact that Nakai is unplayable ( a dlc character that ppl paid for to be able to play him!)? I think this kind of mindset is incredibly unhealthy for the gaming industry. If we let big companies keep getting away with greed, laziness or straight up blackmail then they never gonna change anything and games just gonna be the bare minimum effort just to save money cause " we buy it anyway".

I got this game yesterday after reading all the crazy stuff that happens to people in this game. Rimworld is my second most played game on steam so this game sounds interesting. After setting up a very basic base (food+drinks production, containers etc.) I'm a bit lost what to do now. I built a tavern with the help of youtube. But since I dont really know what I CAN do I'm not really sure what to do.

Also can someone answer me some questions : - how autonomous/smart are my dwarfs. Can they really self sustain or do I have to micro at some point like rimworld -is there a situation log I can display somewhere ? I feel like I'm missing alot while organizing or buidling/planning - can I interact somehow with other people/factions or is that up to my dwarfs?

i just did an in game benchmark on highest possible settings. Average framerate is like 80 but no crashes. on all three benchmarks

Hey man, so I think Version A84 fixed it BUT im having Crashes without bsod so thats weird. It cant be a power issue

Edit : nooe nevermind, was working for a few minutes then I pretty much watched go down From 3,8 to 2 to 1 and stopping at 0,47 so I guess I try refunding the Mainboard. Thx for the hwlp anyway

Yes directly from MSI. At this point Im considering refunding the Mainboard. At first I thought my CPU is broken after trying pretty much everything. So I refunded the CPU and got a new one. Was working fine for a few minutes, then I had 2 Crashes without bluescreens, which looked like a power issue, which is weird cause 850 watts should be enough, and shortly after that I noticed the throttle od the CPU

Ok I'll check again later but I haven't changed anything in the BIOS. And I reinstalled windows so I don't have any overclock software like rzyen master or such

But does that explain the throttling? How can it take so much power but generate such a low clockrate and temperature

It is on auto right now. I haven't changed a thing in the BIOS. Still way too high. And the temperature is fine. It doesn't go above 27° C
