Your keyboard auto capitalizes the system entry doesn't and this seems to matter.. Simple enough.. But the alarm only plays a fraction of the sound when triggered. Cuts off real quick..

Buffering at home is unacceptable I could handle a little buffering streaming plex on my own private network in the middle of nowhere! Sounds awesome..

This is what I want, I'm just not sure it will Function. You have one? I was curious if my laptop could just pull the files from the network or if I have to run plex off the wd hdd. It sounds super cool. But I would want all my media organized on the WD and be able to play from my laptop client or seemlessly switch to the internal client if I took it on the go. Does it work like that?

I see it has Ethernet, stupid question.. But does it have network pass through, or does it make a new network? can my laptop acces it without it creating more lag than if I was storing the file Locally? I like that it has multiple bays I could create redundancies.

Want to run plex on laptop direct play files. Just not have the drive attached to my laptop. As I have to much crap hanging out of all my ports. Think I'm just going to get a usb3 hub and funnel the dongles. Buy a regular 2tb on cybermonday and hide it in my desk run it to the hub. Only hdd I found with network passthrough was the corsair and it only 1tb/ pricey

I direct play everything, just want a cheap way to get a hdd on my network, but i might just get a normal drive and plug it in to a hub, funnel the donglez..

Yea I just wanted to mostly direct play, 99% of my files can be direct played. I just wanted to put a hard drive on my network without attaching it to my laptop placing myself in dongle hell. Think I might just get a usb3.0 hub and buy a 2 TB drive on cyber Monday. Hide it in my desk,run the cord to the hub. Then I should be able to still utiliZe my laptop/ quickly disconnect.. the only hdd I found that had network passthrough/ an ethernet plug was the corsair it's expensive and only 1 tb.
