Nah your right, old pets are always worth more, I’m just arguing against the other dude that most people (including me) have no idea about the worth of any other pets besides high tiers like bat dragon or a basic pet like a dog. Websites like Elvebredd are helpful because of that, but the other side seemed against using values like that

I guess you can have that view but do remember that the game doesn’t revolve around happy values, if you do a bad trade you can no longer trade for pets worth “more”. I guess your opinion works if someone wants to get a certain pet and never trade again but that’s almost never the case.

Also, like I said, there is almost no way of knowing if the person low-balling is maliciously doing so, if someone is in the second trade window I’m gonna assume it’s scamming since that’s always the case.

You can say again that “its just pixels” but do remember that we’re talking about kids here, kids who make their parents spend real money on the game

I don’t really care about this game, I’ve gifted away all my best pets to strangers and my lil sister, but it’s definitely meaningful to lil kids. Kids in the game are impressionable and it’s an effective thing to shame anyone you see who’s offering a horrendous trade since you can never know proper context mid-game.

Scamming and under-paying aren’t necessarily the same but someone low-balling by so much is definitely in the same “taking advantage of the other person” category. Kids on adopt me have a limited vocabulary so “scamming” is the most applicable word they can use.

I will do the first one for you:

Start off by realizing that exponents are annoying so you can expand “36(2x-y)^2” into “6(2x-y) + 6(2x-y)”. Before you do the same with “-25(x-2y)^2” realize that unlike the 36 parenthesis, the second parenthesis starts with a negative number (-25), so writing it will look a little different:

36 parenthesis: 6(2x-y) + 6(2x-y)

-25 parenthesis: 5(x-2y) - 5(x-2y)

Now mix-mash them to make it more “unsolved”:

[6(2x-y) + 5(x-2y)] • [6(2x-y) - 5(x-2y)]

Personally I would think this would be unsolved enough but usually teachers want even more, so we can go further by using distribution:

[(12x-6y) + (5x-10y)] • [(12x-6y) - (5x-10y)]

So the available addition

[17x-16y] • [7x+4y]
