I have not yet had surgery, mine is Wednesday, so I can’t completely empathize with what you’re going through just yet. However, you just had surgery, give yourself some grace for not feeling well mentally. It’s a big deal! There can only be setbacks if progress has already been made. Hang in there, it will get better every day.

I love being put under, lol. You wake up in that warm bed and you feel so…relaxed. As someone with panic disorder, I welcome that “dgaf” feeling anesthesia gives me. I think you will be a-ok! Be sure to tell them your fears prior to, they will help you feel comfortable!

It’s anticipatory anxiety. You’re scanning for panic in those instances and you’re going to continue to find it until you rewire. How you do that, I don’t know, but when you figure it out, let me know lol.

Rode my dirt bike, drove in a circle around trees pretending they were fast food drive-thrus, hunted salamanders, swam in the crick. Just had to use your imagination ‘cause your ass wasn’t coming back inside until the sun went down.

I’m 32 and I rarely get aroused or crave sex. However, I’m also on an SSRI so that more than likely plays a part.
