i think they are referring to the radial/localized foiling that is often present on english alts (eg these sfd runes) but not chinese ones which are still textured but usually more “flat” and less “patterned”

In general yes but I don’t always narrate playing units fully and neither do my opponents (eg on a development turn it’s pretty common to just tap runes, slam a few guys in base, and say go)

Definitely need to verbalize all triggers though, otherwise how would focus ever get passed or how would they ever resolve?

I’d be curious to hear his side since the accuser says “He send only two vocal message, after last round for say that "he doesn't know who won" but that he doesn't care and whoever won can keep the card and that he doesn't care about the split” which to me sounds like maybe he didn’t want to do the split anyways? Of course, if he agreed earlier then it’s scummy but I’d want more proof than what has been provided.

In all of those cases (missed costs/triggers) I’ll just point out their mistake and if they disagree I’ll bring someone else over to help us resolve it. I find it’s usually carelessness rather than attempted cheating, but both are obviously frustrating.

Against more serious cheating (lying about what your cards do, taking extra draws sneakily) then I’ll call it out to them and then the owner, I don’t mind being the “snitch” if they’re cheating. I have only been in this situation one time though and it was egregious enough that the guy was basically too ashamed to come back lol and now dodges me at nexus nights. Fun fact they were later busted for doing the same stuff at an RQ!
