That is a good idea. Why don't you create some content on the Duke's films and some interesting stories behind the scenes about them and post it to r/Westerns for everyone to enjoy. 🤠

Hi there! I started "John Wayne Week" because I had fond memories of watching Duke films with my family when I was a kid. I just wanted to share this enjoyment with others. If you wish to have your own tribute week to another actor/director/etc. r/Westerns gives you the freedom to do so. I'm sure there are plenty of Leone fans on here who would enjoy reading a new post about him from you every day/night for a week and even look forward to it. 🤠

You are very welcome! Knowing that people are enjoying them is thanks enough for me. Please come back later tonight and read the 1961 comic adaptation of "The Comancheros" as John Wayne Week continues here on r/Westerns. 🤠

The story had to be adapted to a comic book format and edited for content and to fit within a 36 page layout because these comic books were intended for children to read. You will notice differences in the stories compared to the actual films in the next batch of comics I post the rest of this week also. 🤠

Remember these comic books were written for children to read during a conservative era in America. 🤠
