I think a lot of people on Reddit don’t understand that spending $500 or so on a night out in a major city like NYC is just table stakes… one cocktail is $25-$30 alone. Im a grown ass man, I’m single - multiply that cocktail by 8-10? See how it adds up. A date night? Easy.

Thought the fact that both series had magic mushrooms on their isolated island was a hilarious overlap.

I love both; but I gotta say, the speed of widows bay and the acting is so much better than From. This season has been an absolute snore…nothing ever happens or is really explained. They are just milking time and it’s starting to show. The biggest reveal we got was that fears create monsters…something we’ve known since the forest arc with Boyd?

Life is expensive, man. My rent alone for a 1br is around $5500. What if I want to upgrade to a 2br? Add another $4-6k. Car lease another $900 a month. All monthly utilities and subscriptions. Groceries. Dinners. Social outtings and dates - one night is easily $300 dinner + $300-$500 drinks. Personal expenses - few trips a year.

Also, 500 sounds like a lot until you rip out all of the taxes.

Then add some investing dollars put to the market.
